Dream Maker – Season 2 – part 17

Three Days later.

I am Lost, but I had a plan. I didn't buy all this talk in my head by that Evanescent and I didn't trust that Seal women either. Something was clearly not right about my situation. “Can you just try and keep up!” she shouted to me. I rushed forward a little to put myself closer to the whole group. We were heading off trying to find a way out. They all made chit chat and left me lingering behind, not like I was too bothered. Everyone had just got plain clothes on and they decided not to take much with us. I had some blue trousers on and a black top but I sneaked this knife that I found with me. I had no idea who I really was or why I was really here. I expect when we get out of here, we find a world with people and then I can perhaps make my escape. They called me Lost, I thought I was lost but what kind of name is Lost? I was the smallest of the group and yes I did struggle a bit to keep up. They treated me like some old man and yet I didn't feel old at all. We were walking down dimly lit corridors, their voices echoed as they talked. The sides of the corridor were a metal kind of silver colour and the lighting was blue and white. Seal had explained that if we all have a look at the way out then it would give us all a chance to get to know each other. I had some of those black framed glasses on just like the others and the exit was not really apparent. We turned into a room on the right and up a staircase which just led to yet another corridor. We walked more and more.

Seal and Devil walked side by side. The tik tok of Seal's high heels mixed in with the longer tik tok of Devil's high heels made an odd musical kind of tone as they both walked forward as if vying for leadership. Seal was wearing her little black dress while Devil had changed into some smart trousers and a blouse. They both looked like they were off to some business meeting or something. “So we are just looking for the nearest way out?” asked Devil. “Yes, just so we can check out where we are and they assess what we need to do,” replied Seal. “Well I have been looking at the map, you know with our special glasses and I am sure there are several ways out that span very long distances,” Devil said. “I know but I am hoping this is the closest and then maybe later we will have to split up in to groups to explore the other exists,” Seal looked ahead. “Have you sorted our room doors locking us in problem yet? I don't want to be trapped inside my room all the time,” Devil asked smiling. “Yes you should all have your own access now by placing your right hand on the door, I found the master room controls, eventually,” Seal replied. Devil looked back to see Lost a long way behind again. “What is his problem?” she asked. “I am not sure, he seems to struggle a little and seems a bit odd,” Seal replied. “If this the first time we have all bee together or have we all met before?” Devil asked. “I don't remember meeting any of you before and my memories are not fully back yet,” replied Seal. “Do you trust this Evanescent man? Was he telling us the truth?” Devil asked. “To be honest, I am just trying to carry out our mission, the questions can be saved for later,” Seal replied which appeared to shut Devil up for a while.

I am Lost. We reached another staircase and a corridor, I could not help but notice that we had just walked past what seemed to be a lift, I wondered if Seal knew about it. That Devil women kept looking back at me, I was sure that they were talking about me. The corridor had widened now and I felt sure that I felt some kind of air or wind across my face. We suddenly arrived at some kind of metal tracks and there were some kind of controls on a post which Seal and Devil were looking at. “You okay little man?” It was Vapour, the tall skinny one. “I am okay but a little bored,” I replied. “I am sure we will know more about what we need to be doing soon enough,” Vapour said as he looked on at Seal and Devil. After about five minutes a vehicle came down the track from left to right and then stopped. Seal reached her hand out and opened some green doors. “Its a train,” Said Vapour, “A what?” I asked, for some reason I had no idea what this thing was. “You really don't know what one is?” Vapour asked. “No idea what it is,” I replied. Before vapour could reply Seal was waving us all into this vehicle, “Come on, everybody on!” she shouted in unison with that Devil women. The train as Vapour had called it was bright red with small windows on the side. It was like a rectangle shape. Shortly after we were all inside it began to move and I felt a bit strange at first. It started to go dark before some light came on inside the train. We were moving, I guess towards the way out and I felt nervous about this and also nervous as I was standing with all these people who I didn't know. The train stopped and Seal and Devil led us off down and into a room with two exists. We stood all in a group and waited for our instructions. “Right, we now will go above ground but try no to make too much noise, follow me,” Seal said as she headed off through the door to the left which she opened by placing her right hand on it. The way ahead led to a small dark room and a ladder that seemed to go up in the air through a hole in the ceiling. “We have to climb that?” asked Devil. “Yes, ill go first, follow one at a time,” she replied as she slowly climbed up step by step. This wasn't going to be easy as I was only small. I decided to wait for the others to go up first. I had ideas that maybe now I should make a break for it and leave them all and try to find another way out myself but then I really did feel lost here and I really wanted to see what was outside first.

Seal was climbing up the ladder with Devil eager to follow her. Some of the lads were too busy looking up towards and up Seals little black dress to notice Lost just sat their waiting all by himself. Lost seemed to be the odd one out and it had only been Vapour who had talked to him. Seal made it to the top of the ladder and now stood on a platform above it shouting down, “Come on up guys,” she then unlatched some metal clips which were holding a huge covering in place securely. The covering was right in front of her on a the wall in front, it was square and made of metal. Seal pushed the covering forward and light shone through, the only natural light they had seen for so long. Seal crouched down and walked through to a grass floor, she looked up and saw many tress scattered in front of her, some kind of woodland. Seal in her little black dress and high heels looked so out of place as she stood up and breathed in the clean air. Next out was Devil who scanned the world around her with an eagerness to move through and explore. Slowly the group all made it up and above ground and all appeared delighted to be out, even Lost was smiling. “So what now?” asked Hole. “We can split up into two groups and just explore the surroundings, not too far and report back in about half an hour, okay,” Seal said as some of the group had already wondered away from her. Devil went about sorting the groups out, leaving her to lead one group and Seal the other. Journey, Traveller and Vapour all ended up in Devil's group leaving Seal to lead Lost, Hole and Fate. They went in opposite directions. A few minutes later Seal noticed some odd looking towers in the distance, “Hey look over their guys,” she said as she pointed into the distance. “Strange towers, somewhere we should check out,” said Fate who was staring at them in wonderment. “A job for you later on then Fate?” Seal said with a smile. “Wow I got my first job,” she said sarcastically. “You okay Lost?” asked Seal. “Yes, I am just thinking,” he replied. “Thinking about what?” asked Fate. “Thinking about what we might find in this world,” replied Lost. “I am sure we wont have too much to worry about apart from out targets,” Seal said trying to reassure him. “I can't even remember agreeing to do any of this, I can't remember where I come from or anything,” Lost said worryingly. “Its just what happens, we lose memories while we are here but when we all go back home they come back, its just a job we have been given,” Seal said trying to repeat Evanescent's words. Lost stayed silent. “I can't remember things either Lost, so your not on your own.” Fate said smiling and placing a hand on his shoulder.

Hole was a bit back from the others and thinking about things when suddenly she spotted something in the sky. Steadying her gaze, she focused long and hard. “Its a bird she said, must be a bird,” The others noticed her looking and looked at the flying object too. “Looks big,” Seal said. “It must be a bird,” Hole said. “Probably a bird, nothing to worry about guys,” Seal said as she kept her eyes on the flying creature. The bird appeared to disappear into the woodland and the group carried on walking. Seal checked her time which was a feature on her black framed glasses. Each Unbound had a pair but only Seal and Devil had decided to wear them. The data and mapping software did not show anything about the world above and only showed what was in there base.

I am Lost and I was with Seal, Fate and Hole exploring in this new world I had been somehow placed in. I was warming to the girls and they treated me alright, I was pleased that I was not in the group with that Devil women but I did like Vapour too who was in her group. I was trying to work out who I could trust and who would prove helpful to me. I was Lost but something in me had awakened as soon as we had made it above ground. Its hard to explain but I felt happier out here, stronger and more powerful. I felt that I was part of the Unbound but not part of it all at the same time as though I was here for a reason that I did not yet understand. We spotted a bird but I had a bad feeling about it, that was no bird. Our mission if I remember was to go and find, capture four people who were essential to this world and then await further instructions. The task sounded difficult if we had a massive world to search for them in. I wondered what was the actual plan, I did not trust Evanescent or Seal or any of the Unbound.

Dream Maker – Season Two – Part 18

The day was sunny and warm, the group was having a walk in the MoonMagic Palace gardens. Goddess led the group with Serena – the Queen Of The World. Along for the walk was the Queens protector Victoria and Goddesses friend Uma. “You do seems a lot better than what you were, I am so happy,” Serena said to Goddess. Serena was wearing informal wear consisting of a lovely flowery dress, a pair of comfortable but worn shoes and a pink hat that made her look like a cowboy. “I feel alive again like I had been in some kind of dream land all this time, although It took some difficult to handle events to wake me up,” Goddess replied, who was wearing red lace underwear underneath her purple silky dress which matched her long purple hair. “You were very ill for years, that's why I hired Uma to look after you, I was very worried,” Serena replied. “What's her name?” Goddess asked. “What's my name? what's my name?” Uma sang who was walking behind them which sent Serena and Goddess into fits of laughter. Uma who was wearing leather armour and was carrying a two handed sword sang the words again before Victoria shouted, Uma, Uma, Uma,” she laughed as they all turned around to her. Victoria was often quiet and wore her chain-mail armour, carried a longsword in her left hand and held a medium sized metal round-shield in her right. Victoria had decided against wearing a helmet today and her long black wavy hair dangled delightfully over her armoured shoulders. “You okay Victoria?” Goddess asked as she smiled. “Delightful,” was her reply. “Could you say it louder?” Uma asked while laughing which sent all four girls off laughing.

“Right Lad, were just going to do a patrol of the area just to see if we see anything, okay?” Draygon said as he walked with young Silver. The two together looked so much like father and son. “I didn't see any more weird lights,” said Silver. “Neither did I but its worth having a look around just in-case isn't it, besides it gives us a little bit of time together away from the playhouse,” Draygon said. The two carried on walking on up and over the gentle rolling hills towards the Ugly Goo Swamp. The weather was calm and the sun was out. The hills were sparse with only a few trees and bushes scattered around but they were high enough to give a good view of the swampland which nobody ever visited. Often Draygon would take himself off for the same walk they were doing now just for some alone time and exercise. “Lad its good to have some company, even if its you,” he laughed, more of a chuckle than a laugh. “Oh thanks grandad,” Silver cheekily replied.

The four keys, Paul1576, Dream Maker, Angelina and Destiny all were preparing to leave the base and head out above ground. Together they had explored their base but still had no idea where they were. “What if we are under Angel lake, we could be flooded, or what if we are under that Volcano?” Asked Paul1576. “Oh come on really?” Dream Maker replied. “We really have no idea though,” said Paul1576. “I am sure that machine robot thing would not have gone to all this trouble creating us this base just to have it wrecked,” Angelina said. “I suppose you are right miss Angel but...” Paul1576 said as he stopped talking as his and Angelina's eyes locked for a moment, making the moment a little awkward. “Hey guys we have things to decide, what if we just had a test trip first and checked out the area outside to see where we think we are and then we could do with a plan about what we are going to do first,” Dream Maker asked. “A very wise plan,” Destiny said. “Sounds good,” said Paul1576.

The MoonMagic Palace gardens were surrounded by a huge wall made of stone which was white and blue. The garden had a path that crossed over in various places with several walls, benches and plants and fountains in-between. There were several large trees that overhung the garden, some as old as time. “Hello Dan, nice job you have done for me, thank you,” Serena said to the gardener that was seeing to some of the roses. “A pleasure my Queen,” was his reply. “Dan's the man, my queen,” Goddess said smiling. “Call me my Queen again and ill get Uma to chop your head off!” Serena said jokingly. “What was that about chopping heads?” asked Uma. “You wouldn't mind chopping Goddesses head off would you?” asked Serena. “What?” was Uma's reply.

“Can you see all that green stuff over there?” asked Draygon as he pointed with his right hand. Silver looked towards the direction he was pointing, “Yes, its the swamp,” Silver replied. “Well sometimes weird goo creatures swim in it, I have seen them before,” Silver laughed, “I am not like child, as if there are monsters in it,” Silver replied. “No really Silver, I have seen them but I decided to stay away from them, I have heard stories about people who have gone to the swamp and never returned and I really do not want to be one of them,” Draygon said. Silver looked a little scared, “what did they look like?” he asked. “Well, I saw a few green round blobs with tiny hands and feat and red eyes, they looked like evil eyes,” he replied. “How close was you, did they see you,” Silver asked. “I was perhaps around twenty meters away and as soon as I saw them I headed back and away from them, I was looking back all the time, I don't know if they saw me but it scared he life out of me,” Draygon remembered the moment as if it was yesterday. “Could they have been friendly?” Silver asked. “With eyes like that, I very much doubt it,” he replied. The two walked on heading closer to the swamp. “Do you think those lights were around the swamp?” asked Draygon. “I think so, what if the lights were something to do with those monsters?” replied Silver. “I doubt it because I saw those monsters and there were no lights at the time,” Draygon stood still and thought for a moment. “I suppose they could be linked, either they could be calling the lights or the lights could be the blobs falling from the sky or something,” he said. “Maybe, how close can we go, I don't want to get eaten,” Silver said. “Draygon laughed, your not going to get eaten, a bit further yet and then we will head towards that old castle.”

“Should we wear our armour and that?” asked Paul1576. “I think we should just in case we encounter any danger.” Dream Maker replied. The four headed off towards their own rooms. Paul1576 later emerged in some leather armour and a two handed sword while Dream Maker come out in some metallic red armour and was holding her sword The Maker Of Dreams, who was still not talking. Angelina came out with silver wing attachments, white leather armour and was carrying two long daggers. Destiny came out with a black laced top with a dark blue cloak and was carrying a staff with a skull on the top of it. As soon as Destiny came out of her room the others just stared. “Looking good,” Angelina said, Destiny smiled. “I never asked but I am guessing you are some kind of wizard?” asked Paul1576. “I never really put a label on myself but yes I am skilled in magic, alchemy and healing as well as many other things,” Destiny replied quietly. Dream Maker looked on and appeared almost afraid of her. “That will all come in very useful for us Destiny,” Paul1576 said as he smiled at her. “Right lets get going, follow me,” Dream Maker said with the others all looking as if to say “Who put her in charge?”

Heading down a sloped corridor with solid metal walls either side the four keys to the dream world walked. The man of wonder – Paul1576, The angelic Angel – Angelina, The dark witch of wonder – Destiny and the dream making warrior of steel – Dream Maker.

The three ladies who were almost like royalty walked with The Queen Of The World Serena around the garden enjoying each others company. Suddenly right in-front of them a dark hole appeared followed by a dark, deep growl and a creature spawned out of the hole. The ladies stepped back fast as a fully black swirling mass with arms, legs and horns stared them fully in the face. “Get away now girls!” shouted Uma who had previously already fought a similar creature once before. The girls moved back the way they came with Victoria protecting Serena closely. Uma stared at the creature concentrating, suddenly a lashing black whipping snake like thing attacked her and she stepped out of the way before striking her sword fast and just clipping it sending a slice of black to drop on the floor. “What on earth is that?” asked Serena. “Some kind of ugly thing, I don't know,” replied Victoria. Looking on they watched Uma duck and dive trying to find a way through to a cleaner slice on the creature. “Permission to help Uma?” Goddess asked as she looked at Serena. “Permission granted,” Serena said as Goddess was already on her way forward anyway. Uma moved back as the black fluid filled creature moved towards Uma. “To the side Uma!” Goddess shouted as she unleashed a fireball just as Uma moved. “I just knew she was hot stuff,” Serena said to Victoria as they watched on. The on-fire creature sent a ball of black goo at Uma which carried on towards Serena who stepped out of the way with ease. Uma rolled forward and sliced up and across its head sending its head rolling further down the garden path. The creatures body tried to leap at Uma but she was too fast and controlled for it. Goddess sent more fireballs into the creatures body as Uma went to finish off the head of the creature with a strong swipe down. Sizzling to death the body splattered on the ground as its head lay still oozing black fluid. “Watch out!” Uma shouted as another creature appeared behind Serena. Victoria noticed the creature and held onto Serena and physically moved her away from the creature who lashed out with black viper like trails. Victoria spun around and swung her sword at the creature, slicing a tiny piece of black from its body. Goddess and Uma came running over as Victoria blocked some of the black goo with her shield before diving to the right as Goddess sent more fireballs. The creature moved forward and made a leap towards Uma who sidestepped and swiped across hard and fast once more slicing the head off before moving out of the way. Victoria stabbed at the head several times and black fluid flooded the ground. The creatures body tried an attempt at reaching Goddess who had gone near to the creature. Goddess pushed both her hands out and send a fan of flames directly at the creature who sizzled and stopped moving. The smell in the air was of a meaty oily one, the group looked around for any more of the creatures before sitting and resting on one of the benches nearby.

“What are they, where did they come from?” Serena asked who was sounding shaken. “About six months ago I fought one when you disappeared Goddess but I really have no idea about them. I thought maybe it was that witch women from those other towers,” “Could someone be summoning them?” asked Victoria. “Its possible but why would anyone attack us, they were clearly not going to beat us just with those two creatures alone out here.” Uma replied. “We should check inside palace,” Serena said. “Yes, come on, lets go.” Uma said as she stood up.

Dream Maker Universe – Season 2 – Part 19

Devil, Journey, Vapour and Traveller all were back at the entrance that would lead them back to their base. A few minutes later Seal, Hole, Fate and Lost returned. After a few minutes of talking between themselves the group headed back through the door and then down the ladder to eventually return to the train that would take them back.

Sat on the train were Seal and Devil next to each other. “Well that was interesting,” Seal said towards Devil. “Did you see that bird?” asked Devil. “We did, It looked huge, it was just a bird wasn't it?” Seal replied. “I think so, but we needed to get closer to it really,” Devil said. “I think we need to split up into three groups, two groups of three and one of two, we have the other exists to check out as well,” Seal said. “I think you are right, we can work things out when we get back,” Devil replied. “How was your group, anything to report?” Seal asked. “There a good lot, no complaining or anything,” Devil smiled, “How about yours?” “Fine, everyone seemed happy enough, Lost came out his shell a bit more,” Seal replied. “You were worried about him wasn't you?” Devil asked. “Yeah I was but I was probably worrying about nothing.”

I am Lost and I decided not to go back with the others on the train. I went back on the train and just before Seal pressed the buttons to start it, I left and now I am heading back up the ladder to go back above ground. I just made the decision there and then, I wondered if they would even realised that I was missing. I climbed up the ladder and through the way out and back again I was above the ground in the clean air, sky, trees, grass and I felt happy. I looked around, no birds around and I saw the strange towers in the distance so I decided to head off in that direction. As time went by I felt oddly alive but my clothes felt tight on me, like I had grown a bit or something, I dismissed the idea that I had grown away, I mean like I would just suddenly grow all of a sudden.

“Everybody off!” shouted Seal as the train stopped. The group left the train chatting to each other when, “Seal where is Lost?” Devil asked. Seal looked around, “Lost!” she shouted, “Lost!” The whole group turned around looking at her and then looking around. Devil ran back onto the train to look while Seal checked around the area. “Are you sure he even got back on the train?” Vapour asked Seal. “He must have,” Seal replied realising that she didn't remember seeing him. “He's only little, poor man,” Vapour said. After searching more Seal made the decision, “I will go back to find him, Devil you will be in charge while I am gone, okay?” “Yes boss,” Devil replied as Seal jumped back on to the train.

Lady Rose woke up, cold, naked and confused. “Where I am?” she whispered. She realised that she was on a bed, the small room was dimly lit by some kind of magic she could not see. Looking around she saw two more beds which appeared to have people in them. Slowly she arose and looked around, the walls were a blue colour, there was only one way out. Lady Rose sneaked towards one of the other beds and pulled the corner of a blanket up slightly to see who or what was underneath. “Demonblade,” she whispered to herself once more as she wondered who was on the other bed. She wondered if she should wake him up but decided to leave him, she then sneaked towards the other bed. Pulling a corner up she peaked down to see a naked women, who appeared to be sleeping with roses which appeared rather odd. “I am not asleep,” the voice said quietly startling Lady Rose. “Do not worry girl, I mean you no harm,” She said as she moved her legs off the bed and pulled the covers away with the roses appearing to be moving with her. Lady Rose moved away slightly. “Do not be afraid, I am The Rose Queen,” she said as suddenly Lady Rose realised exactly who this was. “Demonblade's love,” Lady Rose said smiling. “His love?” asked The Rose Queen, “You know Demonblade?” she asked. Lady Rose stared at her for a few seconds, seeing the beautiful women and how alike she was to herself. “We have a lot of talking to do, should we wake him yet?” Lady Rose asked. “Leave him while we talk,” The Rose Queen replied.

I am Lost but at least I am free from those Unbound lot. I loved walking in the woodland, through the mixture of trees and plant-life. I look on towards the towers which did not appear any closer to me then the last time I had looked. I heard a tearing sound and my left leg trouser was ripped, I guess I must have got a tree branch of something stuck in it. I loved the way the trees swayed in the small breeze and the way the clouds moved in the clear blue sky, I loved the way the trees were of all different types and shapes and how their branches would make strange shapes that I noticed more from a distance. I walked a little bit more when I heard a ruffling type noise ahead of me, I stopped and examined the way ahead. I suddenly saw eyes, then movement as a little blue creature which was tiny appeared. It was perhaps as big as my foot with little arms and legs and blue eyes that were really round and funny looking. “Hello,” I said not knowing if it heard me or not. The creatures scurried off to my left leaving me looking in that direction after it. I carried on walking as I wondered what it was and what it was called.

I am Seal, “Lost, Lost,” I shouted. I was still wearing my high heel shoes, I could hardly move wearing them. I took them off and moved bare footed although they hurt as I walked on the twigs and rough ground. I scanned my surroundings searching for Lost but I could not see him. I wondered which way he would have gone, probably towards the towers at a guess. I looked at the ground for clues like his footprints but I could see nothing to help. “Why did he not come back with us?” I said to myself as I began walking. He was only small so maybe if I made good speed I would catch up to him, I had to bring him back, he was Unbound and we needed him.

“So he thought that you were me?” asked The Rose Queen smiling. “Yes, he thought that I was you and I fell in love with him and I was ready to die to give Dream Maker a chance with that special talking sword,” Lady Rose said. “You know Dream Maker too?” The Rose Queen asked in shock. “Yes I met her as young girl and looked after her, she live with me,” Lady Rose replied. “This is a rather complicated tale, you said Demonblade thought that you were trapped in some kind of in-between world?” The Rose Queen asked. “Yes, he originally thought that we were in heaven until he realised he had got it all wrong and now I have no idea where we are,” she replied. The Rose Queen stood up and walked and moved around. “I never used to have these wings either, but I love them,” she said. “I just thought they were roses stuck to you,” Lady Rose laughed. “No they are wings and I was flying with an angel until she disappeared,” “You can fly?” asked Lady Rose. “Yes I can fly like a bird!” she said happily.

I am Lost and I am walking slowly towards some weird looking towers. The towers look all rocky and wobbly and I have no idea what I may find in them, I could just be heading into danger. I had my knife with me still but that was all I had in terms of weapons. I was starting to feel thirsty and hungry but I had no supplies at all and I had not seen any fruit on any of the trees. I thought that I maybe would have found some other places by now but all I could see was those towers. I carried on a little more when that little blue creature suddenly appeared again making odd squeaky noises which made me laugh, “Hello,” I said again but then the creature went off again. My clothes felt so tight and then another tearing noise and my top ripped leaving me confused, I must be growing? Surely I was not growing, maybe my clothes were shrinking? I resumed my walking staring towards my target, the rocky towers.

I am Seal and I am trying to find Lost who either got lost or ran away from us, more like the later. He seemed odd from the first time I saw him when I awoke him and again when I let him out of his room. I had been less worried when we went off in our groups together but now I am very worried. Why did he run away from us? We didn't do anything bad to him at all. “Lost I shouted,” several times but no reply. I had shouted, ran fast and I even tried climbing a tree which did not go so good and I ripped my dress. I came across a weird blue creature that made a squeaking noise which I found cute and funny, so at least we know life is in these woods. I had not seen any more birds or anything but I kept my eye out. I walked as fast as I could searching for some kind of clue about where Lost may be. What if I was just wrong and he had gone the other way, I didn't even know if I would be able to get back to the base, the train, the others now. I had messed this up hadn't I? I should have left a trail so I could follow it back and now I was going to possible be as lost as Lost was.

“So Demonblade, what's this about you been in love with me?” asked The Rose Queen. Demonblade, who had only woken up seconds ago turned bright red, “I, I don't know what you are talking about,” he said smiling with embarrassment. “Look your Rose Queen has wings!” Lady Rose said. Demonblade was not awake properly yet but looked towards her, “I must be dreaming,” he said as he lay back down on the bed. “He's embarrassed, but he can't afford to be because we have no idea where we are or anything,” The Rose Queen said. “I agree, wake up!” Lady Rose shouted in Demonblades ear making him jolt upright. “Alright, alright I hear you!” he said as her stood up out of his bed and then realised his nakedness. “We have seen it before Demonblade,” The Rose Queen said with a sigh. “Where are we? I was with Lady Rose and then I am here,” he asked. “We have no idea, but one things for sure is that we are here and we need to work out where we are what we are going to do,” The Rose Queen said. “Something has moved us here for a reason, some entity has brought us all together,” Lady Rose said. “All we know is that we are alive in some way or another and that I am now reunited with The Rose Queen again who has wings and that we are in a room with some beds and I am naked and cold,” Demonblade said smiling with his two favourite women in the whole universe glued to his words, “And I miss Paul1576,” he said. “Who's he?” Lady Rose asked.

Dream Maker Universe – Season Two – Part 20

As Silver and Draygon walked in the direction of castle speed the four keys were about to leave their base and head out above ground. Harpy's were flying in the area as if alerted by some event or other. The clouds were darkening and rain began to fall. “I think lad we best start to head back, “ Draygon said. “Its only rain, we have not yet got close enough to that castle,” Silver said with a disappointed voice. “Okay we can go a little closer but when I say we head back we get a move on and do,” he replied giving in to the young lad which he almost always did. The two walked across the grassy landscape looking in the distance towards the castle. The castle was not too tall and looked like it was very old and made of rock, the green of the moss and plants covering it could be seen from a distance. “That castle is very old lad and years ago people said that they had gone inside and seen ghosts and undead so they had never gone back, one man said his friend had gone in and had never come back,” Draygon said. “Ghosts and undead, I want to see them,” Silver replied. “Trust me, you never want to come across evil beings like them,” Draygon replied. “What do they call the castle?” Silver asked. “Someone told me a long time ago that is was called “Castle Speed which I did not understand, I asked him why and he told me that once you go in there you run out very fast,” he laughed.

The four keys walked on down a metal sided corridor and then took a right turn up another slope which curved round to the right. The corridor was a dark shade of green and in several places, odd looking lit torches were hanging on the walls. “Who lit the torches?” Paul1576 asked, “We didn't so I guess they are magical,” Destiny said. He tried to blow one of the torches out and couldn't, “At least this machine robot thing thought about us seeing in the dark,” Paul1576 said. Dream Maker and Angelina led the way with Destiny and Paul1576 following. The corridor circled right all the time, going higher and higher until they come to a one that was straight. At the end of the corridor lay an old wooden door. “Could this be our way out of here?” Dream Maker asked, “What will be behind the old door?” asked Paul1576. “What could lurk behind the door?” Angelina said before, “I know, I know, “ Destiny said, stopping everyone in their tracks. “Its, wait for it, its another corridor, “ she smiled with the others all looking at her wondering how she knew. Dream Maker pushed the door open to find another corridor but this one was coloured red. “How did you know?” asked Paul1576. “I have flickers of visions of what's ahead sometimes, “ Destiny said. “Do they hurt or anything,” asked Dream Maker. “Sometimes my head hurts a little but nothing to worry about,” She replied. The four keys carried on down the corridor until they were met with a winding staircase that appeared to be made of some kind of very smooth surface. The walls were red and the flooring green. The steps were fairly high and Dream Maker led the way. In single file they moved up higher and higher. “You see what's up there Destiny?” asked Angelina. “Sorry nothing, I can't force the visions, they either come or they don't,” she replied. “Okay, no worried,” Angelina said as they continued climbing.

“I see some birds,” Silver said as he pointed high above the castle. Draygon stopped and looked and focused. “Boy we need to go back now I think, they look like they could be harpy's,” Silver was puzzled, “what are harpy's?” he asked. “They are like nasty women who are like birds who like to kill and play with humans, they are not nice at all,” he said. “Have you met one before?” Silver asked. “No but I have heard the tales from people, one man said this harpy ate his best mate whole.” Silver looked shocked, “Okay, lets head back now,” he said as he moved towards the north. “You sure you don't want a closer look?” asked Draygon who was surprised by Silver's reaction. “No, we best go and make sure Lady Maja and Zara are okay,” he replied. Together the two made fast headway heading towards there home, Silver kept looking back as if afraid of the harpy's. “Don't worry lad, its unlikely there going to come after us,” Draygon tried to reassure Silver.

Dream Maker reached the top of the staircase and found herself in a small room with a wooden ladder in the middle. The room was painted red and had black square tiles on the floor, the only way out was up the ladder. “Looks like this must lead above ground,” Dream Maker said as she waited for the others to reach the room. Dream Maker climbed up the ladder and found herself in an ever smaller room with another door. The others followed and squashed themselves in with her. “Latches on the door need unfastening,” she said as she got to work and before long she pushed open the door sending in to the room a cold breeze of wind. Dream Maker stepped out first and was greeted by rain, she scanned the surroundings seeing lots of water, grass and green mould. “Its a bit wet,” she said as the others joined her. “Anyone recognise where we are?” Paul1576 asked and got no reply. “I don't like the look of this,” Dream Maker said as she moved forward. “Some parts look really deep, its hard to tell,” she said. “Right then we must move slowly and carefully then,” Angelina said. “I can see better ground in the distance, we should head that way,” Dream Maker said as she took one step at a time. “Why did that machine put us in this swamp?” asked Paul1576. “I guess its because nobody comes this way so no-one would find us?” Destiny said. “I think you are right Destiny, that machine would not want us put straight into danger would he,” said Dream Maker as her foot slipped under a lot of water, “There again!” she said as she pulled her foot out of the green murky water. “Araghh, something's got my ankle!” Pau1576 shouted as he wrestled to keep himself from been pulled into the deep swamp waters. Dream Maker turned to see some kind of creature and its arms trying to pull him in. She stabbed her sword into the swamp, trying to stop the creature but the creature kept pulling. Angelina took out her two daggers and cut the hands off the creature freeing Paul1576, the creature disappeared from view. “The hands are still on his ankle!” Destiny said staring at them, the fingers were still moving. Paul1576 poked his own sword at the hands and wiggled the hands free. “Everyone keep a look out, we don't want any of us going in there!” Dream Maker commanded as the group resumed there walking.

Silver and Draygon were halfway back when the skies became even more dark. “Is this just me or does this darkness seem a little bit unnatural?” asked Draygon. Silver looked around, “No its just rainy and stormy weather, that's all Draygon,” Silver said as he looked back in the direction of the castle. “There coming, its a harpy!” Silver screamed and started running ahead fast. Draygon turned around with his axe ready for any attack only to find a few small birds flying over him. “Lad its just a few birds, wait for me!” he shouted as he watched Silver running away from him. Draygon started running to try and catch up with him but then fear struck him as a harpy flew over him. “Silver watch out!” he shouted as he ran as fast as he could keeping his eyes on the harpy. The harpy was white and feathers glistened on its wings. Draygon was not looking where he was going and ran straight a tree branch which cut the side of his face, he swore. The harpy swooped to the left and then headed back towards the castle to the relief of Draygon, he could see Silver still running from him. “Wait Silver!” he shouted but he did not hear him.

The four keys made good progress without any further issues, that was until another two hands grabbed Paul1576 and nearly pulled him in again. This time Dream Maker sliced the hands off, coming close to chopping Paul1576's hands off in the process. “Hell they like you don't they!” Dream Maker joked. “Looks that way,” Paul1576 replied. Slowly but surely they got out of the swamp and felt solid ground. Suddenly a green blob landed at Paul1576's feet, he spun around and just avoided another one. “They're throwing goo at us!” Dream Maker shouted. Destiny ran forward a way before turning around. More green blobs of goo were coming their way, mostly towards Paul1576. “They wont come out of the swamp, I don't think,” said Angelina. “Everyone keep back,” Destiny shouted in a quiet sweet voice. “What?” asked Dream Maker. “Stay back please,” she replied as she pointed her staff at the creatures in the swamp. A ball of black stuff came from Destiny's staff and splattered the green goo creatures, who made a wail of a noise as if in pain. Surprisingly several of the creatures came out of the swamp. “What was you saying Angelina?” said Paul1576. Destiny sent more black stuff which slowed the creatures down and appeared to be shrinking them. One by one the creatures returned back to the swamp a little smaller and stopped attacking them. “Good work!” said Dream Maker smiling at Destiny. “Thanks,” she replied smiling also. “Right which was?” asked Paul1576. “I suggest we go north,” Dream Maker said as she already had started walking. Ahead was hills and some of their way was uphill. The weather was rainy still and the sky dark, it was a dreary day. “Anyway Angelina, why didn't you use your wings to just fly over the swamp?” asked Destiny. “I, I didn't think about that,” she said. “I guess you are still getting used to using them?” asked Destiny. “Sure am,” she replied. “How about Angelina you have a little fly up and see which direction we should go, have a look around,” Dream Maker suggested. “Okay, just give me a few mins,” she replied.

Minutes later Angelina in her white leather armour was showing off her beautiful silver wings flying high in the sky searching for where the four keys could head for. The rain was obstructing her view but across to the north west she could see some building closer to them and further ahead what looked to maybe be Angeltown but she wasn't sure. Across to the west she saw a castle and loads of birds circling around it which seemed strange. To the north a way away she spotted another castle. Angelina felt so happy and wondered what Mr Wiseman would say about her wings and her flying, let alone about her mission to save the universe. She swooped down and rejoined the others who gave her a big cheer as she landed. “You looked like you enjoyed it up there in the rain,” said Paul1576. “I did, I did,” Angelina said. “So which way?” asked Dream Maker. Angelina told them all about what she had seen and then decided to head North West which seemed like the closest place to find anything. “Will we even be going back to our base again?” asked Destiny. “We must, I would need to change my armour and I loved my room too,” said Dream Maker. “Maybe we will find another way to get back, who knows what this machine has left for us to help us?” Paul1576 said. “True, it took us from the world to tell us everything so surly its left us more help along the way?” said Destiny.
