The GhostMan - Part 8

CHAPTER 27: I ROARED, I SCREAMED, I SHOUTED.

Team one had reported in and had located the Ghostworld. They had sent James back to find us and he led us there at a speedy pace. I sent a telepathic message back to Gerard who locked onto the location and put it on the console. “Problem clone three, repeat there is a problem.” He telepaphed to me. “What problem?” “The Ghostwold is breaking up, be careful you don't want to be in there when it goes altogether.” so it seems someone has done the hard part for me but I had to make sure David and the other clone was finished once and for all. I had to risk going in. “Gerard keep me updated OK.” I telepathed back to him. “OK clone three, Gerard out.” came back the reply.

When we got to the flat it was old looking but had dark circles all along the walls. The way in I did not know so I decided to bang on the door, knock, knock. “Who's there” came the reply of a slow strange voice. “Am here for David, now let me in!” “David is not here right now please leave your name and number and he will get right back to you.” “like muck he will, ill let myself in!” I was mad. “come on teams, find any way in you can, first in wins a date with belinda!” I roared, I screamed, I shouted. I tried knocking the door down with my axe but all I heard was a hissing sound every time I hit. I got mad, I got really mad, I got even madder, the door cracked and one more hit smashed it down. “looks like I win the date, teams to me NOW!” I shouted.

I entered first, I found myself in a kitchen, the others followed. There were dark red and black circles all over, they were getting bigger. “David you ducking loser, your clone is coming for you!” “Its your time to feel pain from one clone you shouldn't have made!” I could feel anger, pain, revenge, madness in my true heart. I wanted to destroy everything and anything, I was out of control. I walked out of the kitchen and turned the corner and there David was, well two David's, I wasn't sure which was the original and which was the clone. There was also a pretty looking women, sweet. I wish I could take her right now but with these circles, I new I didn't have time. “Brother its great to see you, come on in, ill put channel 69 on for you!” said one of the David's in a warm and friendly way. I looked at the TV, porn. I looked back towards David. Something was flying at me, it hit and I couldn't see anything, Blackness swam all around me, I then heard the screams of my Ghost-teams.

CHAPTER 28: DRAGON

Ghostman put on channel 69 to distract the mad and evil looking Clone Three. It worked and Mega threw the Advanced Smoke Shot at Clone Three while Ghostman and I escaped up through the roof of my flat, Mega followed after. “The RFE is nearly complete, no way he's getting out of that now.” Mega shouted as she came up through the roof. We found ourself at the bottom of a Huge fantasy styled castle. It was like a dream or a story. I was face to face with a huge door, behind me there was a moat full of clear water which was slowly turning red. I banged on the huge door, a voice replied “What is the password?” the password I didn't have a clue about. “compassion and serenity.” Ghostman said, the doors opened as Mega and I stared at Ghostman wondering how he knew that.

I heard voices I slowly moved that way as behind me was starting to disappear to black. I could see no sign of my teams. I found the way out above the sofa, my left hand suddenly hurt, my fingers had gone. I moved as fast as I could towards the opening as my left arm vanished. I leapt up reaching for the way up, I missed. I panicked and became scared, I tried again and missed. Behind me all was black. I could see the area around the opening turning black too, all was nearly lost. I made one last jump and grabbed onto a ledge, I pulled myself up and escaped as the opening turned to black, I stepped away. Ahead were my targets going through a door of a huge castle. What on earth I thought its like something out of a fairytale or something.

Otherme, Mega and I walked through the castle doors. The doors began to shut, I looked back to see clone three running for the door but he was too late. I loved the castle, it was mine of course, I made it. All the pretty flowers and gems on the walls in this room we were in I loved, everything was so beautiful. Mega walked to the walls and touched a blue and yellow gem. “don't touch!” I shouted but too late, Mega vanished. Some of the gems were teleporters to other parts of the castle. Otherme watched in shock. “Otherme you better go after her, its just a teleporter touch that one and you will be with her again” I said indicating the gem she had touched. “OK Ghostman” he replied as he reached for the Gem. “Ill come and find you, I have someone I need to see” said Ghostman as Otherme disappeared.

The door shut, I couldn't get in. I banged on it and a voice asked me for the password. “Just open the duck up will you!” I shouted in rage. I heard a flapping sound from behind, I turned. A huge Dragon was heading towards me, it was bright red. I put my back to the door, scared, fear washed over me. The dragon settled down right beside me. “Thought you could do with some help.” it was Gerards voice, I looked astonished. “Gerard?” “yes its me now get on my tail and walk up to my back and hold on for dear life!” I did just that and we soared into the sky.

CHAPTER 29: EVIL DOES NOT DESERVE MERCY

The Queen had told her what her x lover Dr Sango had done and was convinced she had nothing to do with it. She told Helen how she had took Clone three from a new life after he had regained life due to his evil ritual he had undertaken. She told Helen about all his sins and had left him to her to do as she saw fit. Helen used the teloportation system to good use and found herself standing in front of the almost finished Dr. He looked pitiful with blood everywhere on him. He looked up and saw Helen. “My love please help me.” he pleaded. “NO!” shouted Helen, he looked scared as realization set in. “please have mercy on me, I did everything for you.” “Evil does not deserve mercy!” Helen said maddeningly. She kicked him hard and harder still. He slumped even more. “Guards, see to it that this thing is tortured for all eternity, let him have pain and more pain, keep him alive so he can feel pain forever.” she said then teleported back again using her magic crystal the queen had given her.

“For every heart there is a past, for every dream, there is a pain, for every smile, a wheel turns and every future begins again.”

The queen was reciting poetry as Helen returned, she often did. They got on really well and the Queen had Helen playing with all day and every day. “your husband is here Helen” the queen said smiling, “go see him and let your heart decide what will be.” she said. “My husband?” “yes your husband, on top of the central tower.” “Ill go see him my queen.”

CHAPTER 30: PICTURE PERFECT/TOP OF THE TOWER

I went to my chambers at the castle, Otherme wouldn't see me again for a long, long time, maybe I should have said goodbye but it was best this way. I took out my large palette with so many colours on it. I pulled out my easel and began painting.

I found Mega at the top of the central tower. I looked down and there was a big red and silver spike shining at the bottom, the one I had a nightmare about. I gave a shudder at the thought. Mega was near the centre picking up a shiny silver sword which looked decorated with many pretty flowers and had gems all down the side. There was a staff there too I picked it up, it was decorated the same. I pretended to hit Mega with it, she smiled and kissed me. “True love has finally found you then my husband.” I turned to see Helen standing there watching us. “Helen how nice to see you.” I said with a grim face. I knew I killed her but I never new how I ended up here. “David, you have my blessing and I wish you all the happiness in the world but please don't go slitting anyone's throat or your own again please.” Helen said, so now I new I had killed myself and Helen. “I wont.” “Dr Sango did some terrible things David and is been punished for it.” she said and then went on to explain.

I drew a laboratory and I drew my Otherme asleep at the main console. I drew the links in the painting which would change Otherme's life forever. It was hard work, everything had to be precise and even with this picture nothing was guaranteed.

Suddenly a flapping sound rose from below the tower, I looked around and a huge Dragon suddenly rose into the air, bright red and fangs glinting in the sun. It landed at the edge of the tower top and a man stepped off the Dragon. It was clone three. He walked towards us, Mega and I held our weapons tightly. He walked slowly but then he changed. His face turned huge and red, he then grew black horns, his axe grew to be huge, his body bulged with massive muscles. Mega, Helen and I had fear on our faces as this monster approached with rage and anger thundering in our ears as he shouted “David, David, Brothers This is the end!”

CHAPTER 31: A LEAP OF FAITH

Mega ran forward, sword in hand and leaped at Clone Three to Otherme's horror. Clone three swung his axe strong and fast at Mega who look destined to loose her head. A smiling lady suddenly came out of no where and jumped at Clone three's Axe It dug into her body and she fell to the floor, the axe missing Mega and Mega's sword digging deep into the monsters heart. Clone three shouted In pain and rage. Mega looked to see Alpha on the floor, blood pouring out of her. She ran to her and knelt beside her still with the monsters shadow hovering over them both. “I love you Mega but you need to listen to me, please.” Alpha said faintly as her life force drained from her. “I love you too sister.” Mega said with tears falling on her cheeks. “You and David must jump off the tower onto the shiny red and silver spike, trust me love when have I ever let you down, I love you, remember me.” Alpha's voice trailed away at the end of that sentence her life torn away in an act that saved her love's life. Mega kissed Alpha on the cheek and ran to David just as Clone three's axe slashed the ground where she stood.

Suddenly a huge spider started spinning around the dragon faster and faster until all what was left was a huge ball of silk. The Dragon struggled but to no avail. Helen laughed at that as Mega and David talked fast as Clone three was stumbling towards them.

The spider ran towards Helen and as it was running it changed, dissolved into an elf who was truly beautiful. He ran to Helen with arms outstretched and they hugged and kissed. “Goodbye Helen, may you live happily ever after.” shouted David. “Thank you David and may you too.” she shouted back. Mega and David ran faster and faster and leapt hand in hand off the tower with Clone three staring at their apparent suicide. Helen looked on and Rick whispered “Ghostman's Idea, they make a leap of faith that will change there lives forever.” she giggled and kissed Rick hard and passionately.

CHAPTER 33: WAKE UP/NO MORE SLITTING THROATS

I woke up at the console, I must have nodded off. I checked all the settings they seemed OK. I heard voices and giggles then moans coming from the guest room. I went to investigate, I new we had no guests. I opened the door to find Helen, my wife and Dr Sango in the bed together making love or so it seemed. I stood there shocked. It took a minute or two for me to acknowledge what I was seeing. I got angry and mad and ran back into the laboratory and picked up my long sharp knife. I ran back into the room and grabbed Helen. I held her tightly and put the knife to her throat, then I remembered the words, “David, you have my blessing and I wish you all the happiness in the world but please don't go slitting anyone's throat or your own again please.” I paused it was Helens voice I was hearing. I pushed her back on to the bed and ran out of the room dropping the knife.

I left the laboratory and got into my car. In the car I realised it was Mega my friend. She kissed me, I kissed her back, I new I loved her. We drove out the main gates. There was a huge explosion behind me. We stopped the car and got out. Standing hand in hand we watched as the laboratory was utterly destroyed. We watched for around half an hour then got back in the car and headed for my flat. I unlocked the door and put the kettle on and we sat down on the sofa. “I need a cigarette love.” said Mega as she pulled a packet out of her coat pocket. “you don't smoke, you have asthma love.” I said. “I know” she replied. She couldn't find her lighter. “maybe its fell down the side of the sofa.” I said. Mega searched her side and pulled out a lighter and some drawings. She lit up and looked at the pictures. “David the artist?” she questioned. The first picture was of my car driving away from the laboratory and in the car were Mega and I, it said the words at the top “To Otherme, love Ghostman.” The second picture was of a castle, with tall towers and a moat, there was a strange shiny red and silver spike on it. The picture had words at the top, “To Otherme, come visit me one day, maybe ill get to your wedding, Love Ghostman.

PROLOGUE: I DREW AND I DREW AND I DREW

Mega and Otherme married a year later in a beautiful church with flowers and gems along the walls. Alpha was bridesmade and was smiling all the way down the isle. Hung on the walls were some delightful fantasy pictures by someone who initialled them with a G.M, the Church staff had never seen them before and didn't know where they came from. Mega and David set up there own research laboratory while Alpha ran Mega's. David children, Peter and Paula lived with Mega and David and they planned to have more.

Cloning and anything to do with bringing the dead to life or visiting the dead was now punishable with life imprisonment while creative research of beautiful things was encouraged.

I drew and I drew and I drew and I thought of my best friend, my Otherme, I longed for his company.
